Gameplay:

• At the start of the game, you receive a random dog card, available in small, medium, and large sizes, along with a "special trick" card.
• Shuffle the game cards and arrange the top nine cards in a 3x3 grid.
• Place three dog trick cards in one column and three rescued dogs in another.
• The player farthest from the start player positions the watch dog token, and the game is ready to begin.

Your Turn: On your turn, choose one of your trick cards and rotate it as needed. Collect cards from the 3x3 grid that match the pattern on your chosen trick card. You can take a card from a row or column under the watch dog's protection. Play and tuck cards both before and after collecting cards from the grid.

Card Types:

• Dog cards sit in front of you immediately.
• Food cards can be exchanged for one of four types of food.
• Adoption cards go in your hand, and you can exchange two for a rescued dog with special powers.
• Favorite Things cards are valuable dog toys, especially when collected in sets.
• Training cards can be tucked under a dog for bonus points or exchanged for new tricks.
• Walk cards earn you bonus points when tucked under a dog.
• Bone cards provide a bonus for well-fed dogs when collected in sufficient quantities.
• Trait cards grant ongoing powers and endgame bonuses when attached to a dog.

End Game: When the "End Game" card appears, complete the round so that each player has the same number of turns. Then, tally points based on each dog's food requirement. Feed your dogs the right type and amount of food to earn points. Neglecting their needs results in a penalty. The player with the most points becomes the ultimate dog lover and wins the game!
